Top 5 Communication Apps Performance on Android in Serbia Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading communication apps on the Android platform in Serbia showcased notable trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in weekly downloads and revenue.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent presence, with weekly downloads beginning at approximately 10.3K and experiencing a gradual decline to around 7.8K by the end of March.

Rakuten Viber Messenger from Viber Media saw a peak in weekly revenue in late February, reaching nearly $2K. However, downloads decreased steadily from 9.3K at the start of January to 5.4K by the end of the quarter.

Yettel SRB experienced a fluctuating download rate, beginning with 7.1K and closing the quarter at 6.3K.

Telegram showed a stable revenue trend with slight increases, peaking at $1.5K in March. Downloads remained relatively consistent, fluctuating between 5.4K and 7.4K throughout the quarter.

Snapchat had a modest revenue performance, with a peak of $425 in late January. Download numbers decreased from 7.1K in early January to 4.8K by March end.
